Underworld: Evolution

is a 2006 action, fantasy, and thriller movie that continues the story of the war between vampires and werewolves: 

• PlotThe movie picks up where Underworld (2003) left off, with vampire warrior Selene and her half-werewolf boyfriend Michael searching for clues about their races and the war between them. 
• CharactersThe movie stars Kate Beckinsale as Selene, Scott Speedman as Michael, Bill Nighy as Viktor, Shane Brolly as Kraven, Michael Sheen as Lucian, and Tony Curran as Marcus. 
• StorySelene and Michael are on the run from the vampires after the death of Viktor, the vampire Elder. They seek information and weapons to use against the vampires, and try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. 
• HighlightsMarcus, the first vampire, is awakened by the blood of a lycan scientist and confronts Selene. Marcus wants to steal Selene's memories for information. Selene and Michael discover that Marcus plans to free William, the first and most savage werewolf.
